The Beginning: 1963 and Beyond
The year was 1963 when a couple of teens were asked to cut a demo record in Baton Rouge, Louisiana for Montel Records. Sam Montel, owner of Montel Records, decided the cut was so good he would release the record on an unknown duo that had never sung together. That duo was Dale & Grace. The song "I'm Leaving It Up To You" zoomed to the top of the charts, resting in the #1 spot for 7 weeks and selling over 7.5 million copies worldwide.
For more than five decades, Dale & Grace have continued to share their gift of music and ministry with audiences across the country.
